Come and see how this rural Alberta 4th grade elementary teacher has been able to foster and promote collaboration and partnerships with schools and people in Alberta and around the globe. Using technology, she has fostered an environment in which her students are engaged and empowered in their learning. She has sought out and made connections with local and provincial presenters which has inspired her students with authentic and personal learning opportunities. Being part of a global teaching community and reaching out to connect with educational leaders and various organizations has helped transform this rural classroom by offering rich and valuable learning opportunities for her 21st century students.
