Class blogs and individual student blogs are an effective means of helping students and teachers find a voice, communicate about their learning and open the doors to a global education. We will look at blogging as a teacher communication tool, teachers blogging about their subject and student blogging. We will also spend some time on how to bring global connections into your classroom. 

In this session, you will learn how to build a website and how to effectively use your website in your classroom.  You will need to bring your laptop! The purpose behind this session is to enhance and transform your classroom practices. 

Participants will discover just how easy it can be to set up a class website as well as how it can save time and make their lives easier.  The program used is user-friendly Weebly.  Participants should bring a laptop if they wish to play atound with the program as we go.  (Unfortunately tablets and phones do not work for this particular task.)
